Event presented by Unique Flying Objects in Two Rivers.
The 13th Annual Kites Over Lake Michigan will be held on September 1st & 2nd at Neshotah Beach in Two Rivers.
This is one of the largest kite festivals in the Midwest, attracting kite-fliers and people from all over the country. Incredible displays of giant show kites of every type and size, precision stunt teams performing amazing aerial ballet with their kites, spectacular and colorful ground displays and activities for kids & the public both days!
A mass release of Sky Lanterns followed by a firework show finale, weather permitting on September 1st. Sky lanterns will be available for sale at the beach during the event and at Unique Flying Objects in downtown Two Rivers leading up to the event.
Sunday morning there will be a free kite making event for kids from 9:00 to 11:00 am.
A shuttle bus service from the Two Rivers High School to the beach is available for both days.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2018 events run 11:00 am to 5:00 pm AND 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm
Sautday: Kite flying events from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm
Saturday: Sky lanterns release at dusk, followed by firework show (weather permitting)

Sunday: Kite flying events from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm
